Aptora was founded in 1995.  The organization specializes in Service Management Software, Flat Rate Pricing Software, Field Service Software for the HVAC Community, and Construction Accounting Software. Marlainna was employeed as an Accounting Support Representative.  She demonstrated a good attitude and tenacity by taking on the HVAC industry with an open mind and willingness to learn something new.  

Marlainna took copious notes daily in an effort to master the features of the software and understand how accounting principles applied to different parts of the program.  What started out as a personal journal, a daily log of support issues and resolutions, turned into a Knowledge Database.  This tool turned out to be most helpful in delivering a quick and complete solution to customers.  As a result, this was by far one of the most rewarding projects added to this repertoire

Gorden Energy & Drainage is a sump pump company located in Olathe KS. The controller of the company needed to upgrade their complex ticketing system originally developed in ACCESS 2003.  CJK Consulting was contacted to assess the design of the program and submit an SLA to completion. Marlainna was hired as a consultant to complete this task and follow the project to completion.  The re-engineering of this complex ticketing systems included converting the back-end from Access to SQL Server tables.  Each phase of development including research, analysis, coding, and testing was done by Marlainna under the direction of the controller of Gordon Energy.  The client was amazed with quality of work and achievements.  The status of this project is on-going
